About Me

Hello, I'm glad you're here

I have called Seattle home for 27 years, and these days you'll find me in Capitol Hill. This city has shaped me, and I've grown right alongside it.

I started steel mace training about a year ago, and it quickly became more than a workout. It's a practice I'm genuinely passionate about, equal parts strength, rhythm, and moving meditation. This journal is where I chronicle that journey, the flows that humble me and the quiet progress that keeps me coming back.

Outside of the mace, I'm happiest when I'm moving and making. I love reading, dancing, and art. I'm relearning to play my guitar, one patient chord at a time, and I'm always dreaming up the next corner of the world to explore. Travel keeps me curious, and curiosity keeps me training.

A note of honesty: I am not a certified or trained mace instructor, just an enthusiast seeking community and fellow like minded folks.
